This article is great. It reminds me a lot of that commercial a while back about how you should orient your toilet paper - whether it came over or under the roll. Okay, personally, I thought the commercial was kind of stupid, but this Wikipedia entry did amuse me. It sounds like there actually may be some pretty strong opinions on the issue, and I suppose it makes sense to orient the paper one way or another if there is a pattern on it or something, but otherwise, who really cares?
I guess our family is more of an over-the-roll family, simply because we've gotten used to doing a little something special with the toilet paper at the small-town hotel my family owns (and all my siblings have worked at). So, I'm curious: How do you prefer to orient your toilet paper?
